In honour of another year, I’ve added an additional technique to the non-toxic printing process with which I have become obsessed. Adding drypoint lines to the images I create using the carborundum for value and mass gives me added control over edges and internal details. I am still entirely enamoured with the black, white and grey values and the landscape scenery recorded from my memory, my photos, my field sketches and from my imagination. Each image that works for me will be printed no more than ten times, but due to the individual inking and wiping of the plate, each image edition will be variable.
